Ik heb angst voor schrijving en fouten maken, maar ik wil mijn goede ervaring met iedereen delen. Ik begon in juli... 2022 met B1.1 niveau cursus en volgende week ga ik B2.2 volgen. In het voorjaar ging ik al enkele maanden 4 dagen per week naar het Taalcafe en kennis centrum, maar mijn Nederlands werd alleen wat verbeterd en ik dacht het nooit aan dat in zo'n korte tijd ik al zoveel dingen kan begrijpen!De redenen waarom men een taalcursus hier bij "Learn Dutch in Maastricht" zou volgen zijn :1. redelijke prijzen2. werken in kleine groepjes 3. goede sfeer4. behulpzame docentenMijn eerste docent Koen was heel aardig. Ik vergeet het nooit dat tijdens de les vroeg hij aan sommige leerlingen : "Wat is jouw slechte eigenschap ?" Toen ik aan de beurt was, vroeg hij plotseling: "Wat is jouw goede eigenschap?"Ik antwoordde automatisch: " niks ".En hij zei: Dat is niet waar, iedereen heeft iets goeds."Mijn tweede docent Selma, was heel verantwoordelijk. Ze probeerde snel problemen op te lossen. Ze schreef iedere keer alle dingen van de les op op die dag , daardoor konden de leerlingen de lesmaterialen terug kijken in aller tijden.Echter mijn favoriete docent is absoluut Swantje, omdat ze ervaring heeft met lesgeven aan vluchtelingen.(ook met iemand die analfabeet is of leerstoornissen heeft). En jij kunt altijd extra huiswerk van haar krijgen als je wilt.Volgens mijn is dat om een Nederlandse taalcursus bij Learn Dutch in Maastricht te volgen totaal voordelig!Dus ik zou zeggen,meld je meteen aan voor een intake bij Learn Dutch in Maastricht voordat jij je kans verspelt!read more

Hi, I took Dutch A1 to B2 Pt 1 online with Renske. With my busy schedule and my job making me travel often I decided... to opt for the online option. I will say that Renske is a very patient, caring, and good teacher. I can tell my Dutch has vastly improved under her lessons. As with any language course you get as much as you put into it and how much you review the lesson that is given to you by the teacher. Renske was willing to answer all questions on and off topic during lesson to make sure you understand and she makes herself available outside of lessons if you have any questions which give the courses a personal feel even tho she is working remotely out of country. I would recommend taking this version of the course if you wish for something more flexible for your schedule and outside the classroom to help improve your Dutch!read more

I have followed 3 courses with Learn Dutch in Maastricht, I found the courses a great support to learn and improve my... dutch. In the course i had the opportunity to practice speaking, to do grammar, to broaden my vocabulary, and also to have a fun time! Selma was my teacher, she is very attentive and patient to answer any question, provides clear examples to explain concepts and she brings a good gezelligheid atmosphere in the group! thumbs up 🙂read more

I definitely recommend Learn Dutch in Maastricht for a fun and easy way to learn dutch. Selma and Martina are both... great teachers, very motivated, energetic, friendly and seem to love their job. The school location is really nice and convenient and close to city centre. Also intensive classes are offered which give you an extra option. I enjoy a lot learning Dutch with Selma and Martina. The lessons are well structured and extremely practical so you can... start using what you learned immediately after class. We learn in small groups and thus can progress fast. Lessons are fun to follow, you will learn a lot about Maastricht and Dutch cultural in general. Location is perfect and you can enjoy lekker koffie too 🙂 . I can only recommend them.read more

Learning Dutch together with Selma gave me a great start to my Maastricht experience. In the class we would cover the... material and then take the time to speak a lot and train the new knowledge with various games and small challenges. This helped me overcome my uneasiness to speak with natives. Selma is a wonderful teacher, very patient and understanding and motivated to teach you the language! This summer I joined the A1-2 level Dutch course. Prepared books are so useful, location is close to trein station... and class is perfect for lessons! Selma is so friendly and energetic teacher. I took intensive courses, both were for 2 weeks but they saved me really a lot. I didn't understand any single word... when i arrived and now a lot of things became quite clear. I definitely recommend to take classes from Selma! Prepared material was adequate to my expectations, combination of... talking, listening and grammar was very good. The books (made and printed by Selma) were very helpful! I really appreciate that the classes were in small groups so that each of us was able to talk and take active part in each lessons. I also liked that the lessons were kept in casual tone, we learned expressions that can be used in the everyday life, or in pubs and during parties. To sum up I can only recommend this classes You will learn dutch and spend time in the company of nice and funny people!read more

After 10 months of learning Dutch with Selma, I can warmly recommend her! Her hospitality makes you feel really... comfortable and creates the good enviroment for learning a new language. She will teach you usefull everyday Dutch, of course as a combination of grammar, listening and speaking. She shows you how Dutch people live, think, what they like or what they don´t like. It's a really natural way to learn a language. The combination of grammar, speaking and listening is great.
